Two of the most common themes are quests and adventures. Quests and
adventures have bean around sense the dawn of man and creatures alike. It is so conman in everyday life that it is very popular in the style of writing for most books. Quests and adventures are popular themes for writing because of all the bravery and sense of adventure to surpass all that comes in your way. Most quests turn in to an adventure because when you are on a quest to find something it is just looking but for a long quest you need your sense of adventure. The main theme in quests and adventures would have to be the travels across thousands of miles to make it to where they need to go.
The book that I am going to talk about is Eragon. Eragon is about a great adventure and a quest to find ware the main character belongs in close to a small village named Carvahall. His quest is to find if he belongs with the Elves or with the Dwarfs or the Humans. His adventure is to make his way to the Varden. The Varden is a rebellious group that is trying to over throw the evil king Galbatorix. Galbatorix was a dragon rider. When his dragon died Galbatorix demanded a new dragon when the riders refused he went on a rampage and killed all the riders that would not join him. The only riders that united with him became the forsworn and the only dragons that survived belonged to the forsworn and Galbatorix used black magic to acquire a new dragon. Eragon got his dragon from an elf using magic sending the egg that Eragon thought of as a stone then after a month the dragon hatched and the new rider named Eragon was born. Eragon got his name from the first rider in the world.
